Buying or refinancing a home can be a stressful and an intimidating ordeal – if you don’t have the right team educating and guiding you. As an Arizona native (Here since 1977) I have built my business through 20+ years of referrals from very satisfied clients and referral partners. Our team directive has always been to be honest, upfront and knowledgeable for our clients. It is our goal to help them make well-informed decisions about their mortgage finance strategies. This concept is how we have built UMe to be a successful company.

My niche for the past 22 years as a loan professional is being a self-proclaimed "guidelines geek". I enjoy constantly educating myself to interpret and understand loan guidelines; sometimes even better than the people who wrote them! This unique skill sets me apart in the industry because interpretation is everything when it comes to maneuvering through a challenging loan. To me, a client is as unique as a fingerprint; each scenario is different and should be treated that way. My family has been in the Arizona mortgage industry since 1979, so you could say I grew up in the business. Some of my earliest memories were spending weekends in my mother's office while she worked on mortgage loans. Some may argue that my very first word was "loan." I learned early on the importance of hard work and integrity. Those ideals and my skills at creating system and process efficiencies has allowed our clients to experience seamless and stress free transactions – resulting in the further success of UMe.

Kristen McMullan

My role at UMe Home Loans is very versatile and covers a broad spectrum of duties, but the end goal for each duty is the same – SUPPORT. Coordinating day-to-day operations, providing support to each member of our team, and collaborating with our clients and/or real estate agents during the loan process are just a few of my responsibilities. Over my 15 years of working in multiple positions within the mortgage industry, I have gained the experience and expertise to support clients, my team, and our referral partners in a myriad of ways. This diversity of knowledge allows me to do whatever it takes to help buyers achieve their dream of homeownership.

Kim Cavin

I have a wide variety of experience in hard money lending, fix and flip real estate, and residential lending. After 6 years of commercial lending coming to UMe Home Loans has been a breath of fresh air. Helping our clients have the same feeling of excitement and accomplishment that I felt at the closing table of my first home purchase is my job satisfaction. That is the main reason I take a lot of pride in making the home-buying experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. My genuine desire to connect with people and commitment to helping them navigate the ups and downs of the loan process has been my recipe for success. When not working, my husband and I love to camp and fish any chance we get with our two children, Gunner and Peyton. My family is the driving force behind everything I do.
